On Wednesday, October 3rd, 2018 at approximately 2:56 pm, officers from the Amity Township Police were dispatched to the CVS Pharmacy in Douglassville regarding a theft that occurred approximately 10 minutes prior. Upon arrival, police spoke to the manager who stated that two actors took several items off the shelves. The actors were described as a stocky taller black male, possibly in his 30's with a beard, wearing a baseball hat and a black t-shirt with the word "SECURITY" printed across the front in large white letters. The second actor was described as a black female possibly in her late 20's or early 30's, with long braids in her hair, wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants with multi colored bottoms.
The actors took several over the counter medications such as Nexium and Mucinex. They placed the items in bags and then walked out the emergency exit door. The total value for the medications was approximately $2,500. The actors are believed to have been involved in several thefts in the area. They were later identified as Shanese Clark and Omovudu Iwesi.
