Burglary/Theft of Dog Investigation



Police are investigating a burglary to a kennel and theft of a resident's family pet, a White Siberian Husky. The incident occurred on the evening of Saturday, June 23rd between 2135 hours and 2152 hours. Police are reviewing nearby surveillance video at this time. Investigation shows forced entry into a secure outdoor kennel.

A person of interest in the case is described as a white male, between 20-30 years of age, 5'7" and 140-150 lbs., piercings in at least one ear, possible nose ring, dark hair put in a "man bun" hair style. The male was observed operating a older model white in color van with windows down the sides and rear. The van is described as very beat up with dents, rust, fading paint, and scratches. One witness described the vehicle as having at least one of the windows painted white and thought it looked like a work van. A similar vehicle is attached.

***The dog has since been located unharmed.***
