NEW HOLLAND, Pa. (WHTM) — A 77-year-old male is missing from the 500 Block of West Broad Street in New Holland Borough.

He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and jeans.

The Caernarvon Township Police Department phone lines are still down today. If you need to reach an officer for a non-emergency, please call Berks County Department of Emergency Services at 610-655-4911. Emergency calls are not affected during this outage and all 911 calls will still go to Berks DES.

Anyone needing shelter and affected by the storm can come to the Caernarvon Township social hall located at 3307 Main St. in Morgantown. Area is currently being set up for those in need.

There are no worries about the NYPD cars seen in the Township today. We are aware.

In preparation for the upcoming potential inclement weather forecast, please remember to keep vehicles off roadways when roads are snow or ice covered.

The Twin Valley High School received a report that another student made a threatening remark. The report was immediately investigated in cooperation with high school administration. The investigation concluded that no threatening remarks were made. Administration is continuing the investigation, but has concluded that there is no threat.
