On 05/24/2022 while on patrol the on-duty officer of the department observed a Nissan SUV traveling on Benjamin Franklin Highway with a cracked taillight and emitting white light. Penn DOT records check of the vehicle's registration showed the registered owner Angela Morlock to have a suspended driver's license. A traffic stop was conducted on the taillight violation and confirmed Morlock was operating the vehicle while suspended.
Following speaking with Morlock a strong odor of marijuana was coming from the inside of vehicle. When Morlock was asked about it she informed she had a Medical Marijuana Card which was found to be expired. When asked where her prescription medical marijuana was to observe it in the "original packaging" it was found to be in a glass pipe, not an approved vape pen, no prescription information, and not having a valid Medical Marijuana Patient card this was illegal possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia.
Charges filed on Morlock.
