On Friday September 18th, 2020 at approximately 11:05 AM, the Douglass Township Police were dispatched for a motor vehicle crash on 422 Bypass East bound near the county line in the construction zone. It was reported that there were two vehicles out of traffic, unknown injuries. Our officer arrived to find a Silver Impala with heavy front and side damage along guide rail and a Peterbilt Flatbed Truck pulled ahead with minor damage to its front driver bumper. The Peterbilt Flatbed Truck was in the right lane of travel going into the one lane merge into Construction zone when the Silver Impala attempted to pass on the left clipping the front driver side bumper of the Peterbilt Flatbed truck causing it to spin out and into guiderail on left shoulder. No injuries were reported by either operator and the Silver Impala was towed from the scene by Douglassville Auto Body. The operator of the Silver Impala was cited for Driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked, DUI related along with other traffic related citations.
