On Tuesday, 6/19/18 at approximately 1130 hours., Laureldale Police were on patrol and spotted a wanted person kneeling beside a parked pickup truck in the driveway of 1904 King Street, Laureldale. The suspect ran towards the rear of the property when he observed the Officer. The wanted person was subsequently located and arrested inside the rear of the residence after forcing his way into the home. The suspect was identified as William Evans. Evans was later arraigned at DJ Dean Patton’s office on eight (8) scofflaw warrants and additional charges of Burglary, Criminal Trespass and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bail was set at $40,000 for Evans and he was committed to Berks County Prison.
