To protect the health and wellness of our residents and our staff, the Township is restricting access to all municipal facilities. The Spring Township Police Department is making every effort to serve the needs of its residents while doing our part to help curb the spread of the Coronavirus. We appreciate your cooperation in this urgent matter!
The Township of Spring Police Department has a designated area on our headquarters parking lot at 2800 Shillington Road that is well-lit and under video surveillance. The "Exchange Zone" is intended for parties who are buying, selling or trading items via online classifieds websites, or other networks, who want to complete their transaction in a public place.
The Spring Township Police Department is interested in your feedback. If you have had an experience with our department good, bad or otherwise, we welcome your feedback. Click here to find out how to send us some feedback.
The Department is a participating member of the Berks County Emergency Response Team. BCERT was formed in 2007 to provide assistance to local law enforcement agencies in the management and resolution of special threats and high risk incidents. Currently, C.I. Cory Huntsinger and Patrolman Jon Zaun are assigned to the team.
Since 2006 the Township of Spring Police Department is accredited by the Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission and the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association. Spring Township Police is proud to be one of only 117 agencies statewide that have successfully achieved this status.
The Berks County District Attorney's Office has placed a medication drop-box in the lobby of our police station. This is an easy, convenient way to safely dispose of your unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medications. Keep the medications in their original containers and black out personal information, if you choose. No sharps or inhalers can be accepted.
