On July 23, 2019 at approximately 10:48 AM, a WRPD Officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 300 block of Kline Street for a violation of the PA motor vehicle code. The Officer conducted an investigation and learned that the driver of the vehicle had originally identified himself by using a fictitious name. The Officer was able to determine who the driver was and identified him as Damon Christopher FAVORS. FAVORS was found to be wanted on a separate charge and was taken into custody. FAVORS was also found to be driving with a suspended PA driver's license. A search incident to FAVORS arrest yielded, among other items, approximately 2 grams of marijuana and a large amount of US currency. Further investigation revealed that FAVORS is involved with sales and distribution of controlled substances. An arrest warrant has been issued against FAVORS for the listed offenses.
