Wyomissing Police responded to a report of a fight involving a gun and possible shots fired on the Plaza Azteca Restaurant parking lot. When Police arrived all parties were gone. Investigation showed that two males got involved in a physical fight, where one male then pistol whipped the other male, accidentally discharging a round that did not strike anyone. Both males fled and the "shooter" was found a short time later. He was interviewed and charges were filed. The suspect was arraigned and committed to Berks County Prison. The males involved were driving and happened to pull into the parking lot. No one involved worked for nor were patronizing Plaza Azteca Restaurant.
