The Wyomissing Police Department would like to announce that the second suspect in the August 12, 2025, shooting in the area of The Works, Ethan S. Gonzalez, was taken into custody today, September 12, 2025, after turning himself into authorities. Charges against Gonzalez include: Criminal Attempt Murder, Aggravated and Simple Assault, Firearms Violations, Recklessly Endangering, and Criminal Conspiracy.  Gonzalez has been arraigned and bail denied.  Gonzalez is currently awaiting "An Interest of Justice Hearing" to be held in the Berks County Court of Common Pleas.  The Wyomissing Police Department would like to thank everyone for all of the assistance we have received in this investigation.
