The Borough of Wyomissing is partnering with the County of Berks, Borough of West Reading, and the Berks County Armed Forces Day Parade committee in co- hosting the 77^th annual Berks County Armed Forces Day parade along the Penn Avenue corridor on Saturday, May 17, 2025 starting at 10:00 AM. This parade is rain or shine!

            The parade will be staging on the parking lots of the former Vanity Fair Village Outlets and the 800 & 900 blocks of Penn Avenue. Therefore, the following parking restriction will be in place beginning at 7:30 AM on Saturday, May 17^th for safety during the parade and subsequent needed detours, approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation:

• No Parking Both Sides of 800 and 900 Blocks of Hill Avenue
• No Parking Both Sides of the 000 Block of Reading Avenue
• No Parking Both Sides of the 800 and 900 Blocks of Penn Avenue
• No Parking Both Sides of the 000 Block of Park Road South and North.

The parade route will be eastbound on Penn Avenue from 8^th and Penn Avenue into the Borough of West Reading, turn right onto south 4th, then right onto Spruce St., and then end at south 7th. The parking restrictions, road closures and detours will last until approximately 12 Noon.
