The Friends of the Reading Hospital and Medical Center will be hosting a Road Race event within the Boroughs of West Reading and Wyomissing and the City of Reading on Sunday October 19, 2025. Because of this event, beware of an increased number of runners on local streets. The entire map of the event can be found at:

The race routes are open to local traffic; however there will be road closures or controlled traffic periodically during the event.

Again, motorists should take extra precautions when travelling in the area and be prepared for altered or stopped traffic. Police officers will be at closed areas allowing local traffic access in a timely manner.
