The South Heidelberg Police Department (SHPD) is investigating a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash that occurred in Robesonia Borough and is requesting public assistance.

Between 1:00 AM and 5:30 AM on June 20th, an unidentified tractor-trailer struck a utility pole on South Robeson Street, specifically between East Oak Avenue and Penn Avenue.   This collision resulted in significant damage to the utility pole, disrupting utility services to area customers for several days.

Despite ongoing efforts, SHPD has not yet obtained any information about the suspect vehicle or clear surveillance footage.

We urge citizens to review their surveillance cameras for any footage of a tractor-trailer during the specified timeframe.
