On Jan 4 police were dispatched to the McDonalds located at 6176 Morgantown Road for a report of a male actor assaulting customers and staff on location. Officers arrived and found a chaotic scene with multiple people injured and a male party in the parking lot screaming. Officer's approached the male who was not listening to verbal commands to stop approaching them in an aggressive manner. This male tried to fist fight one of the officer's on location. The male was ultimately tased by two officers on scene and it took three of our officer's to control the male. 

He was subsequently identified as Gasava McDONALD. Witnesses reported that McDONALD assaulted several people, including one whom he rendered unconscious. McDONALD also ripped a ceiling light out of the restaurant prior to police arrival and chased and attacked employees who were working in the kitchen.

While in police custody, McDONALD continued to be out of control and a Berks County Sheriff's transport van had to be summoned to safely transport him. 

McDONALD was arrested for various aggravate &, simple assault charges, resisting arrest and property damage.
