On 5/30/2019, Officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a vehicle for a summary traffic offence. The vehicle failed to stop for the emergency lights and siren and fled from the officer. Officers observed a small child in the back seat of the fleeing vehicle and decided to terminate the pursuit. A short time later the vehicle was located after it crashed on Hemlock Rd. in the area of S. Twin Valley Rd.

Officers made contact with the defendant, Steven TRACEY, who was now out of the car. TRACEY ran from the scene while officers were tending to a small child that was also in the vehicle. A bystander was able to apprehend TRACEY and bring him back to the scene,

An investigation was conducted and TRACEY was arrested for the above charges
