This evening there was a riot at Abraxas Academy located at 1000 Academy Drive. State and local law enforcement are on location and have taken back control of the juvenile detention center.

It’s reported that some juvenile offenders have fled the facility and are currently on the run. They should be wearing white or grey shirts and grey shirts. If encountered call 911 immediately.

PSP Reading is working with Caernarvon Police and together are working to resolve the matter.
