On Sunday, October 20, 2024, at approximately 1202 hours, the Township of Spring Police Department received a call for service regarding a vehicle theft on SR222N at the Broadcasting Road exit.  The vehicle owner/complainant reported that his 2011 silver Audi S4 became disabled at the said ramp on Friday, October 18, 2024, at approximately 2100 hours and was left at that location. Upon his return with a trailer to remove the Audi, it was gone.  

On Monday, October 21, 2024, the Audi was located at the Sheidy Blue Marsh Boat Launch on Route 183.  It was confirmed to be this vehicle through VIN verification.  The Audi's engine and dual exhausts were removed.  Furthermore, it appeared the wheels were taken and replaced with three (3) poor quality chrome wheels and one (1) black wheel.  All four (4) wheels were affixed by one (1) or two (2) lug nuts that did not fit and the tires were bald.  The license plate was also missing.  The vehicle was towed back to the Spring Township Police impound lot.  

After an investigation, Erick MARQUEZ FIGUEROA was arrested for Insurance Fraud.
