The Department implemented the use of body worn camera and in-car camera systems in March 2019 to help us accomplish several objectives:

• Help provide accurate documentation of police-public contacts, arrests and critical incident responses
• Enhance the accuracy of officer reports and testimony in court
• Document crime and accident scenes and other events
• Enhance evaluation of police conduct and professionalism
