On May 26, 2024, Spring Township Police took a report of retail theft that occurred at Weis. It was reported that on May 24, 2024, four black males entered the store and stole $4333.78 worth of over-the-counter medicine. After an investigation, Marlon Polanco was charged with Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property.
