The Township of Spring Police Department received information regarding the death or suspected death of an infant child.  Police investigated the suspicious death of a six month old female infant. 

The suspected remains of a human child were found in a plastic container inside an apartment.  Police officers found the infant's body in a trash bag and concealed in a plastic container full of cat litter in a storage space within the apartment. Officers received a tip from concerned relatives regarding the whereabouts of the infant girl.

An autopsy on the child's remains will be conducted on Thursday to determine cause of death and to determine if further charges are warranted.

The parents of the child, Samantha Trump, age 27 and Shaun Oxenreider, age 25 of 1350 West Wyomissing Court Apt G, West Lawn were subsequently charged with Abuse of Corpse, Concealing the Death of a Child and Criminal Conspiracy.
