Have you ever wondered how the local court system works?  Why your Police Department has so many patrol cars?  What happens when you call 911?  This is your opportunity to learn the inside scoop on how a Police Department operates from the Officers themselves.  The Township of Spring, West Reading and Wyomissing Police Departments are holding a joint Citizen's Police Academy for residents of any of the three municipalities who are over 18 years of age and have no criminal record.  There is no cost for the Academy which will be held every Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. starting September 16th, and culminating in graduation on November 3, 2025. 

This is a fun, informal, informative opportunity that is definitely worth attending!  If you are interested, fill out and return an application by September 5, 2025.  There is an application attached that can be printed, completed and returned to any of the 3 Police Departments.  Applications are also available at the Township of Spring Police Department building or by giving our office a call at 610-678-3431.  A schedule and additional contact information is also attached.
