Unsubstantiated threats have been received from various social media outlets regarding possible "clown" attacks at several Berks County schools including Wilson, Governor Mifflin, Reading and Twin Valley.  These "threats" were received via Instagram by several individuals.  Please be aware that we are taking any threats to the schools seriously and we are working in conjunction with the Berks County DA's office to get to the source of these threats.  The timing of the alleged threat to the schools was supposed to be tomorrow October 5 after 1200 hours.  Please be advised that although we do not at this time believe these threats to be credible, we are taking extra precautions to insure the safety of students and faculty.  If there are any updates they will be posted here on our web and facebook pages.  The Berks County DA's office is in charge of the investigation and any inquiries or information you may have can be addressed to their office.
