West Reading Borough Hall will be closed to the public for two weeks effective Monday, March 16. The administration will continue to monitor COVID-19 and at the end of two weeks, will reevaluate and decide whether continued closure is necessary. Staff will remain on site and will be available to answer calls and emails Mondaythrough Friday from 8AM to 5PM.
“As Pennsylvania continues to see more cases of community transmission, we are taking this precautionary measure to ensure there is no disruption in essential services. We will continue to work with our local and regional partners to do everything in our power to keep residents safe and healthy,” said Council President Jack Gombach.

For tax payments, please drop payments in the large drop box located in the Borough Hall parking lot near the handicap ramp.
The scheduled council meeting will still be held on Tuesday, March 17 but will be abridged and will focus on time-sensitive and priority duties.
