Today, the Wyomissing Area School District welcomed Barbara Conrad from AAA Reading-Berks. Ms Conrad gave an excellent presentation to students at West Reading Elementary on the safe way to cross streets.

Below are some safety tips that you can share with family and friends.

* Stay Visible: wearing bright clothing and reflective materials.

* Letting parents know where you are.

* Obeying traffic signs and signals.

* Crossing streets only at corners and using crosswalks.

* Looking left, right, and left again before crossing, and continuing to work while you cross.

* Making sure each driver sees you before passing in front of him or her.
